Get Involved with XRules

XRules and DynamicDOM are a work in progress. If you're interested in the idea of a rules language for XML to allow computers to exchange business logic like they exchange data today, then your invited to join in. Here are a few areas you can participate in, and if you think of something I missed, please let me know. XRules Processors

A Java implementation of the DynamicDOM.
An XSLT based XRules processor. I have started one and implemented a good chunk of the functionality. However, I’m struggling to find the time to finish it. I can make my code available to you to use or build on.

Use Cases

A desktop application with customizable business rules. For example, a tax preparation program that allows users to change the XRules document that holds the tax formulas.
Web Services:

A Web service that validates incoming requests using XRules and returns the validation results in the XRules Report format.
A Web service client that receives the XRules Report generated from the Web service above, parses the report, and displays to the user appropriate error messages and highlights invalid values.

A user interface that updates an XML document in a DDOM object as the user edits the fields, and captures the DDOM events to dynamically inform the user when invalid values are entered.
